Our amazing neighbors agreed to let us take down a tree and give light to our string beans. It only took 4 days to bounce back and we have our first wax beans!!!
After trading organic farming advice for Blackberry training with our favorite CSA farmer, we picked our first beets. We were quite dissapointed with the size of the root, but the greens will keep us in yummy green smoothies for a few days.
We are super excited about our Japanese Hull-less popcorn and can't wait until the Fall the harvest it.

PS ~ there has not been a cold spell here, Aaron is fully-dressed in an attempt to ward off the 15-20 mosquito bites he was getting each night.
